Szwedzka sieciówka H&M po raz kolejny nawiązała współpracę ze światowej sławy projektantem, tym razem jest nim Alexander Wang. W ciągu ostatnich 10 lat gościnne kolekcje dla H&M zaprojektowli już Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Viktor&Rolf, Roberto Cavalli, Comme des Garçons, Matthew Williamson, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, Sonia Rykiel, Marni, Maison Martin Margiela oraz Isabel Marant. Wang jest pierwszym a zarazem najmłodszym amerykańskim projektantem, z którym H&M podjął współpracę.

Alexander Wang jest znany ze swojego zamiłowania do miejskiego luzu i stylu sportowego. Kolekcja zaprojektowana przez niego dla H&M również nawiązuje do tych kierunków, łączy sportowy charakter z futurystycznym designem. Jest zachowana w czarno-biało-szarej kolorystyce i dominują w niej materiały techniczne i pianka. Możemy w niej znaleźć między innymi luźne kurtki, bluzy, crop topy, legginsy oraz dodatki takie jak czapki, plecaki, klapki i sportowe gadżety. Kolekcja jest skierowana głównie do ludzi aktywnych i zwolenników sportowego stylu. Sportowe fasony to jednak nie wszystko... Dla kobiet, które preferują bardziej elegancki styl, Wang zaprojektował sukienki, tuniki oraz botki na obcasie. Dlatego kolekcja świetnie sprawdzi się zarówno podczas treningu jak i na wieczorne wyjście do klubu. 

The Swedish high-street shop H&M established once again a collaboration with a world-famous designer, who is this time Alexander Wang. For the last 10 years, the guest collections for H&M have been designed by Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Viktor&Rolf, Roberto Cavalli, Comme des Garçons, Matthew Williamson, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, Sonia Rykiel, Marni, Maison Martin Margiela and Isabel Marant. Wang is the youngest as well as the first American designer to collaborate with H&M.

Alexander Wang is well-known for his love for urban cool looks and sports style. The collection designed by him for H&M also makes reference to these trends, it combines a sporty nature with a futurist design. It is presented in black, grey and white colours and the dominant materials are technical fabrics and foam. In the collection we can find loose jackets, jumpers, crop tops, leggings and accessories like hats, backpacks, mules and sports gadgets. The collection is directed mostly to active people and sports style fans. Sports cuts aren't everything, though... For women who prefer more elegent style, Wang designed dresses, tunics and heeled booties. That's why the collection is perfect not only for a training, but also for an evening outing to a club.

Kolekcję Alexandra Wanga możemy już oglądać na stronie internetowej H&M (tutaj), a do wybranych sklepów trafi już 6 listopada. W Polsce będzie dostępna jedynie w dwóch sklepach: w Warszawie na ul. Marszałkowskiej oraz w Krakowie w Galerii Krakowskiej. Dla tych z Was, które mieszkają za granicą, istnieje również możliwość zakupu online.

Szczerze mówiąc, mi kolekcja Wanga średnio przypadła do gustu i niestety trochę mnie rozczarowała. Spodziewałam się raczej czegoś w stylu swobodnego street style'u, a nie kolekcji typowo sportowej. Spodobały mi się jednak te bardziej eleganckie elementy kolekcji i poniżej mam dla Was propozycję stylizacji. Do moich faworytów należą botki na obcasie oraz ażurowe tuniki, ale nie jestem pewna czy skuszę się na ich zakup...

We can already see the full collection of Alexander Wang on H&M website (here), and it will go on sale online and in stores on the 6th of November. The collection will be available only in selected shops that you can check in detail on the website.

To be honest, I'm not delighted with the collection of Wang and unfortunately, it slightly disappointed me. I had rather expected something in kind of casual street style, not a typically sports collection. However, I like the more elegant elements of the collection and below I have for you my idea of an outfit. My favourites are the heeled booties and the perforated tunics, but I'm not sure yet if I will decide to buy them...
