Dziś mam dla Was krótki post z Dolomitów. Sezon narciarski postanowiliśmy zamknąć w położonym na północnym wschodzie Włoch ośrodku narciarskim Sellaronda, zwanym największą karuzelą narciarską w Europie. Sellaronda łączy w sobie ośrodki takie jak Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba ( Marmollata) co łącznie daje około 480 km tras.

Today I have for you a short post from the Dolomites.We decided to close the ski season in this located in the north east of italy Sellaronda ski resort, known as the largest ski carousel in Europe. Sellaronda combines resorts such as Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba (Marmolada) for a total of about 480 km of slopes.

Pod względem warunków i infrastruktury nie można narzekać. Stoki są rewelacyjnie przygotowane a przepustowość tras i wyciągów imponująca. Muszę przyznać, że jestem bardzo wybredną snowboardzistką a co za tym idzie kiepskie trasy i tłok na stoku rujnuje mi całą zabawę. Tym razem czułam się mistrzem deski a na dodatek widoki zapierały dech w piersiach.

In terms of infrastructure preparation conditions and there is nothing to complain. The slopes are superbly prepared and bandwidth of the slopes and lifts is impressive. I must admit that I am a very picky snowboarder and thus poor routes and congestion on the slopes ruining all the fun to me. This time I felt like a snowboard master. Besides, the views on the top are just breathtaking.

Dodatkową atrakcją ośrodka jest wyprawa dookoła góry czyli Sellaronda :) Można wybrać trasę zgodnie ze wskazówkami zegara (pomarańczowa) lub w przeciwnym kierunku (zielona). Taka "misja" zajmuje kilka godzin (wliczając w to czas spędzony na wyciągach), ale jest niesamowitą frajdą. Jest tylko jedno "ale" jeśli zdecydujecie się, objechać Sellarondę może być ciężko zmienić zdanie w połowie.

An additional attraction of the resort is a trip around the Sellaronda mountain :) You can choose the route clockwise (orange) or counter-clockwise (green). This "mission" takes several hours (including time spent on the lifts), but it is great fun. There is only one "but" if you decide to travel around the Sellaronda itcan be hard to change your mind in the middle.
