back on the prairie

Sometimes, Babette  misbehaves. She puts no make up, no socks and no underwear. She grabs a filthy tank top from the floor, picks a pair of dingy denim shorts out of her  laundry hamper and she runs back to the prairie. She is ten again and it is summertime. And let the mosquitos molest her! Let the bites itch and swell!

Są dni, gdy Babette ma w nosie robienie oka, wciskanie się w majtki, biustonosz i konwenanse. Łapie pierwszy, lepszy t-shirt z podłogi, brudne shorty z kosza na pranie i zaiwania na prerię. Znów ma dziesięć lat i jest lato. I niech ją żrą komary, niech ją żrą!
